Railroad Happenings
Norfolk Southern centralizes yard operations in their clerical staff. Many clerical personnel leave various parts of the country and head toward Georgia.Wrestling with how to make ends meet, and face and uncertain management team. The clerical staff digs in and makes the best of it as they can.Just another day for the seasoned veterans of the railroad. They work professionally, dealing with many issues facing them.

• Employee's rally and take up collections.
• Across America prayers go out and candle light's are lit.
• Armed forces across the United States mobilize.

TCU: Union seems non-existent to members . .
Way back in time, before we as railroaders were faced with the dire prospective of having to uproot our homes, families and friends, the union rep's instructed us what to expect down here at the centralized yard offices. Looking back on that meeting, I feel as if our union rep's were speaking with forked tongues. Many issues were sugar coated or left out altogether.
